For local services, we may also collect estimates, Change Orders, electronic signatures, approval or decline records, timestamps, IP address, document fingerprints, processor references, project notes, service area photos or recordings, payment status, damage reports, and related communications.

Payment providers such as Stripe process card information. REMEDEDY does not store complete card numbers or card security codes on this website. We may retain limited payment details such as transaction status, processor reference, card brand, and last four digits.

We may automatically collect device, browser, IP address, referral, cookie, cart, account, security, and website activity information needed to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the site.

How We Use Information

How We Share Information

We disclose only what is reasonably needed to providers that help operate the business, including website hosting and WordPress providers, WooCommerce, payment processors, email providers, shipping carriers, postage services such as Pirate Ship, fraud prevention, analytics or security providers, insurers, accountants, attorneys, and other professional advisers.

When reasonably needed for an approved local service, limited information may be disclosed to a lawfully authorized hauler, facility, recycler, donation organization, or other project provider. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate misuse or claims, or as part of a business transfer.

If you open a link to YouTube, eBay, Facebook, Whatnot, or another third party, that service handles information under its own policy. Embedded content may allow the provider to receive device or activity information when it loads or when you interact with it.

Photos, Recordings, and Private Files

Files submitted through a Local Services form are stored with access restrictions and are intended for internal project review. REMEDEDY may also photograph or record a service area for estimating, safety, work verification, and claim documentation. Customer identifying images are not used for advertising without separate permission.

Do not upload identification documents, complete payment information, medical records, intimate images, or files you do not have permission to share. Remove unnecessary personal information from the background of photos when practical.

Cookies, Local Storage, and Online Tracking

Cookies may keep items in your cart, remember preferences, support checkout, provide security, and help us understand site use. Signed in customers may save contact, billing, shipping, and tokenized payment information for a faster future checkout. Browser controls can limit cookies, but some store functions may stop working.

Favorites and saved searches are stored in local storage in your browser. REMEDEDY does not receive those saved lists merely because you use them. Clearing browser data, changing browsers, or changing devices may remove them.

Standard browser Do Not Track signals do not currently change essential website operations. Other parties may collect information when their checkout, security, analytics, video, marketplace, or social features are used. REMEDEDY does not knowingly sell personal information for money.

Newsletter and Marketing Choices

If you join the REMEDEDY Newsletter, we store your email, optional first name, consent time and subscription status. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing does not stop necessary service, security or customer support messages.

Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected and for order records, accepted agreements, accounting, taxes, insurance, disputes, fraud prevention, safety, and legal obligations. Different records may have different retention periods.
